Multimedia students come from many backgrounds — Mac, PC, web design, video, gaming, tall, short, athletic, grunge, preppy, etc ... but share one common trait.
A passion for learning about creating high-level multimedia projects and having fun doing it. Multimedia students take their projects seriously and work hard to keep improving their skills. They understand that it takes time and effort to get better, but that producing excellent results is worth it. It is not uncommon for students who apply themselves to begin earning money as freelancers before they even graduate. Those who continue on to further their education in college find themselves well-prepared for the courses and projects they will encounter.
Each year we are looking for students who
- who are motivated to work on challenging projects that require some real thinking
- who make it a habit to turn in work that exceeds the requirements of an assignment
- have a personality that can contribute to the learning and environment in the class
- are creative and love computers
- want to be the best
If you are a sophomore with a few of these traits, and want to find out more, contact Mr. Rider to find out how you can apply for this program.
Multimedia is currently full for the 2010-2011 school year, but if you would like to be placed on a waiting list, please fill out this application. After filling out your application, please turn it in to your home school guidance office.
